The Kanata dojo is led by Sensei Nico Campagna, a lifelong Douvris student who competed in 9 WKC World Championships over a decade-long career. As our newest location, Kanata brings the full Douvris tradition to west Ottawa's fastest-growing community.

The Kanata dojo offers karate classes for Tykes, Kids, Youth, and Adults, fitness kickboxing, the Douvris Leadership Program, and summer and March Break camps. Opened in 2023, this purpose-built facility brings over 40 years of Douvris tradition to Kanata with modern training areas and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you're enrolling your child for the first time or returning to the mat yourself, Kanata is built to grow with you.

Camps for kids
Summer Camps
Give your child an unforgettable summer at our Kanata dojo. Our week-long day camps run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and blend martial arts training, teamwork games, and supervised fun in a safe, high-energy environment led by our certified instructors. Camp Details: $330 + tax per week. Each camper receives an exclusive Douvris Kanata camp T-shirt. Save 10% off for each additional family member. Themed Days: Monday — Arts & Crafts. Tuesday — Ninja Theme. Wednesday — Dojo Olympics. Thursday — Nerf Battle. Friday — Movie & PJ Day. Spots are limited, so reserve early.
